Eucharistic Visitors are the church for our parishioners who can no longer connect at the physical plant of the church. Bringing joy to others? What a blessing.

Eucharistic Visitors are the church for our parishioners who can no longer connect at the physical plant of the church. Bringing communion, bringing joy to others, and reminding them they have a church family who cares for them? What a blessing.

Eucharistic Visitors

“…When two or three are gathered together in My
Name, there am I in the midst of them.” [Matthew 18:19]

You may find the photo at left to be an odd choice for the sacred duty performed by Eucharistic Visitors. And yet, the role of the Visitor is to be an expression of the Communion of Saints, to bring the blessed sacrament to those of our community who cannot physically travel to the church building. This sacred duty is a joy.

For that person, you are, during that visit, the church. For that person, you are the welcome link to their extended parish family. You provide the opportunity for prayer, worship and communion.  You are there for them, at a time in their lives where your presence is very much needed.
