I've been giving back since I was a teen, handing out turkeys at Thanksgiving and handing out toys at toy drives for Christmas. It's very important to give back as a youth. It's as simple as helping an old lady across the street or giving up your seat on the bus for someone who is pregnant. ~ Queen Latifah

Youth Group

For grades 6-12

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life in love, in faith and purity; Timothy 4:12.

The youth group at Christ’s Episcopal Church is a community of 6-12th graders that meets at least twice a month and strives to embrace all through prayer, service, study, and play.

We gather on the first and third Sundays of each month from 4:00-6:00 PM for activities, which range from serving our neighbors through Laundry Love, and sharing hot pizza with the homeless in downtown Denver, to BBQ events with the residents at the Castle Rock Motel, and our Fall Festival party with preschool children in Aurora. We’re currently planning our summer mission trip to the Wind River Reservation in Wyoming.

We also play and enjoy God’s creation with games, outings to different locations in Castle Rock and Denver, and getting to know our fellow youth and our community.

The Christ’s Church youth group has joined together with the youth of St. Philip in the Field and the Well of Hope Lutheran church to enlarge our community.

Please join us on our journey of faith and fellowship. For information on our next outing, contact the church office (303-688-5185), or check the calendar on the front page of this website. All youth, grades 6-12, are welcome and invited!
