Meet Fr. Brian Winter, our new Priest In Charge
Celebration Sunday, September 13:
ONE SPECIAL SERVICE @ 9:30 A.M. ONLY
While we have many blessings to celebrate at our annual feast day celebration, this year we’ll be celebrating especially the arrival of Fr. Brian Winter, our newly called Priest In Charge, and his wife, Cheri. Fr. Brian and Cheri are coming to the Sanctuary, Christ’s Episcopal Church in Castle Rock, from St. Chad’s Episcopal Church in Albuquerque, NM, where Fr. Brian has served as rector for the past ten years.
JOIN US IN CELEBRATION & THANKSGIVING:
- Festive Eucharist at 9:30 A.M.: Fr. Brian will celebrate his first mass with us!
- Potluck brunch following the service: ham and another meat dish will be provided. Please bring a favorite brunch or lunch side dish to add to our feast.
- The vestry will once again provide it’s famous ice cream sundae bar.
We are very excited about the many gifts and tremendous energy Fr. Brian and Cheri are bringing to our community. Fr. Brian was ordained in 2002, and has served several parishes in Utah and New Mexico. Brian and Cheri recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary, and they will both be joining us for our very special Sunday of celebrations.
Oh, and BTW … When you get a chance, ask Fr. Brian about his passions for fly fishing and
photography. (Prior to becoming a priest, he was a photojournalist working for newspapers in Utah
and Arizona.)
