Our Congregation

At Christ’s Church, you’ll hear the word “Welcome” over and over. You will find friends here who respect your gifts and challenge your assumptions.

We each started our church experience by being inspired by the worship services, yet we now stay to be with our friends as well. We practice radical hospitality – the call to make all feel authentically welcome, appreciated and supported. We celebrate with each other- coffee hour between services, frequent parties at our houses or the church, brunches, potlucks, dinner groups, musical events, artisan guilds, and spur-of-the-moment get-togethers.

We support each other in times of trial or sorrow – through prayer, by simply listening, and by reaching out if one of us is in need. We plan outings with our children, recreational activities that help them grow closer to God through the great gift of play. If you’re new to the area, or simply feel isolated, come be with us. You are welcome.

PS One very fine example of our radical hospitality is Congregation Cares, our ministry of community support within our church family. Perhaps you’d like to volunteer?
