Fr. Brian Winter is available
to provide pastoral support.
The Rev. Brian Winter, D.Min., is the rector at Christ’s Episcopal Church in Castle Rock, Colorado. Prior to his arrival at Christ’s Church in 2015, he served as a parish priest at Episcopal churches in Utah and New Mexico. Before coming to Colorado, Brian was the rector for 11 years at St. Chad’s Episcopal Church in Albuquerque, NM. While at St. Chad’s, he served the Diocese of the Rio Grande as the Canon for Congregational Life and Development.
Brian is a recent graduate of the Church Development Institute in Colorado, and has a doctorate in congregational development from Virginia Seminary. He was ordained a priest in the Episcopal Church in 2003.
Before entering the ordained ministry, Brian was a photojournalist for newspapers in Arizona and Utah. Outside of church, Brian enjoys the great outdoors—especially with a fly rod in his hand, exploring one of Colorado’s many rivers and streams with his wife Cheri—as well as hiking, mountain biking, and skiing. Brian and Cheri have two adult sons, both of whom are working in Albuquerque as auto technicians.
