Daughters of the King
The Mary and Martha Chapter
of the Order of the Daughters of the King
The Order of the Daughters of the King (DOK) is an international organization of Christian women and girls, between the ages of 7 and 107, both lay and ordained, who desire a closer walk with the Lord.
Strengthened through the discipline of a rule of life, and supported through the companionship of our sisters, we are each at different stages of our Christian journey. No matter where we are on our journey, however, our primary goals are the same — to know Jesus Christ and to make Him known to others.
On the second Saturday morning of each month, our chapter meets with our sister chapter from St. Philip in the Field Episcopal Church. During these meetings, we pray, study, and discuss how and where we can best be of service to our priests. Guests are welcome at our meetings.
If you are interested in visiting a meeting or joining our chapter, please contact the church office (303-688-5185) for details.
The motto of the Order best describes us:
For His Sake,
I am but one, but I am one.
I cannot do everything, but I can do something.
What I can do, I ought to do.
What I ought to do, by the grace of God, I will do.
Lord, what will you have me do?
