Gathering Place

It has been a tradition the last couple of years that families make Advent wreaths the first Sunday in Advent. This year, December 3rd is the First Day of Advent! Last year we had a wonderful time making our own advent wreaths, and would love for you to join us this year on Sunday, December 3rd, starting at 9:15 AM in the Gathering Place! Education is again providing the materials for each household who would like to make an Advent Wreath. This is a fun activity during our regular Education Hour; there will be no Sunday school that day, so families can create the wreath together for their table at home. Each wreath will cost about $18.00 to make.

If you still have the frame you used last year, bring it with you! Your greens and four candles (three blue, one pink) will cost only $12. An entire wreath set, including a frame, greens and four candles (three blue, one pink) will cost $18.

Please call the office to reserve your wreath ASAP and be sure to let Ash know whether you need a wreath frame or not. You may also reserve your materials on the sign-up sheet in the Narthex, indicating what materials you’d like to order.

Sign ups have a deadline of November 22nd so we can order all necessary supplies in time for the wreath making on December 3rd.
