Prayer is at the forefront of all we do at Christ’s Episcopal Church. Whether we are in worship, at play, serving others or studying, we are in prayer. Prayer brings us closer to God and closer to each other. Our formal prayer, or liturgy, each Sunday morning brings us together to remember whose we are and whom we represent.

The word “liturgy” comes from Greek words that mean “work” and “people.”  Liturgy is literally, the work of the people.  Worship is the highest form of prayer that brings us closer to God. We gather each Sunday morning at 8 and 10:30, as well as Wednesday mornings at 6 am to celebrate the Holy Eucharist which is the primary service in the Episcopal Church.
